(1) Fantasy Landscapes

Roles: Photorealistic Concept Painting

Laterite: Concept with the theme of a culture existing in an environment with greenhouses and sparse vegetation on hills containing laterite soil.

Elephant Rock: Concept with the idea of characters overpowered by rock formations in the environment.

Areca: Concept themed on a civilization existing in a geography with Areca palm trees inspired by the Indian coastline

(2) Nycil Grey

Roles: Matte Painting and Compositing

– Scheduled principal photography with green screen and URSA Mini cinema camera.
– Created the look of the film using digital assets and matte paintings referencing architecture and geography of Clemson University, South Carolina.
– Composited the final shots (keying and set extension).
– Lion sculptures courtesy of Alex Young (Clemson University).

(3) To Shell and Back

Roles: Visual Development, Modeling, Layout and Character Animation


-Created a hermit crab character design and a cave environment design based on the prompt given by DreamWorks Animation – “A sea creature is looking for a new home, and something unexpected happens.”
-Created the visual development using traditional and digital painting, modeled a backdrop rock facade (Maya).
-Set-up the the shots in Maya, blocked out and animated the camera and the character.
